Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LiveScoreJSON API service ("Service") provided by LiveScoreJSON ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "API" means the LiveScoreJSON v3 application programming interface, including all endpoints, documentation, and related tools.
• "API Key" means the unique authentication credential issued to your account for accessing the API.
• "Customer" or "you" means the individual or entity that creates an account and uses the Service.
• "Data" means all football-related information delivered through the API, including but not limited to match scores, statistics, lineups, and odds.
• "Plan" means the subscription tier (Trial, Starter, Pro, or Ultra) that determines your usage limits and pricing.

2. Account Registration

1. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including a valid email address and company name.
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API Key and account credentials.
3. You must notify us immediately at info@livescorejson.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. One account per individual or organization. Creating multiple trial accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

1. Trial Plan: A free 30-day trial with limited usage. The trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan; you must explicitly request an upgrade.
2. Paid Plans: Current plans (Starter, Pro, Ultra) are billed monthly in USD. The most up-to-date prices and quotas are shown on our Pricing page and inside the customer portal.
3. Payment: Payment is due within 7 days of invoice issuance. Currently accepted payment method is bank transfer (wire/EFT).
4. Overage: If your plan allows overage, requests exceeding your monthly limit will be billed at the per-request rate specified in your plan.
5. Late Payment: Accounts with invoices unpaid after 7 days will be marked as "past due". After 14 days, the account will be suspended and API access will be revoked.
6. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing raw API data to third parties without our written consent.
• Scraping, caching, or storing data beyond what is necessary for your application's immediate display or processing needs.
• Exceeding your plan's rate limits intentionally or through automated means designed to circumvent throttling.
• Using the API to build a competing data service.
• Sharing your API Key with unauthorized parties or embedding it in publicly accessible client-side code.
• Interfering with the Service's infrastructure, security, or availability.
• Using the data for any illegal gambling, fraud, or activities that violate applicable laws.

5. Data Usage & Attribution

1. Data provided through the API is licensed, not sold. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the data within your application.
2. You may display the data in your application, website, or internal systems for the benefit of your end users.
3. You may not re-sell or redistribute the raw data feed to third parties.
4. We recommend (but do not require) attributing "Data by LiveScoreJSON" in your application.
5. Betting odds data is sourced from publicly available information and is provided "as-is". We are not responsible for accuracy or timeliness of odds.

6. Rate Limits & Fair Use

1. Each plan has defined per-minute and per-month request limits. These are enforced automatically.
2. When you exceed per-minute limits, you will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response with a Retry-After header.
3. Persistent abuse of rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
4. We reserve the right to implement additional throttling during periods of exceptionally high demand.

7. Service Level

1. Uptime Target: We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the API service, excluding scheduled maintenance.
2. Live Data Latency: Live match scores are updated approximately every 30 seconds during active matches.
3. Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via email. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
4. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Outages due to upstream data providers, network issues, or force majeure events are excluded from SLA calculations.

8. Intellectual Property

1. The API, its documentation, design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of LiveScoreJSON.
2. Football data is sourced from licensed third-party providers. All data copyrights belong to their respective owners.
3. Your subscription does not grant you any ownership rights over the data or the API.

9. Limitation of Liability

1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
2. We do not warrant that the data is accurate, complete, or up-to-date at all times.
3. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
4. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

10. Termination

1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms.
2. Upon termination, your API Keys will be revoked and you must cease all use of the data.
3. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
